As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and safety in all aspects of order fulfillment, inventory management, and material handling. Your responsibilities will include managing staff performance, scheduling work, training new employees, and implementing best practices to optimize workflow. A strong emphasis on Safety is crucial; you will be responsible for enforcing all Safety regulations, including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and promoting a culture of safety awareness among your team. This role requires excellent communication, problem-solving skills, and the ability to motivate a team in a demanding logistics environment. You should have a proven track record in warehouse supervision and a thorough understanding of warehouse management systems. The ability to perform physical tasks, including regular Lifting of items up to 50 pounds, and operate equipment safely is also expected. Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities.
- Manage, train, and mentor warehouse staff.
- Ensure efficient order picking, packing, and shipping processes.
- Oversee inventory management and stock control.
- Implement and enforce all Safety policies and procedures.
- Ensure correct use of PPE and promote a Safety-first culture.
- Monitor productivity and identify areas for improvement.
- Resolve operational issues and address employee concerns.
- Perform physical tasks as needed, including Lifting.
