In this crucial role, you will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our inventory records, ensuring that our warehouse operations run smoothly and efficiently. Your primary duties will include conducting regular cycle counts, performing physical inventory audits, investigating discrepancies, and implementing corrective actions to prevent future issues. You will work closely with the warehouse management team, receiving, and shipping departments to reconcile stock levels and identify areas for improvement in inventory processes. This position requires a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. The ideal candidate will have experience with inventory management software and a solid understanding of warehouse logistics. A commitment to workplace safety and adherence to all safety protocols, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is paramount. This role involves significant attention to detail and the ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with a team. Responsibilities also include reporting on inventory status, identifying slow-moving or obsolete stock, and contributing to process improvements.
