Responsibilities:
- Accurately select items from warehouse inventory based on order documentation.
- Verify product codes and quantities against order specifications.
- Pack items securely and appropriately for transit to prevent damage.
- Apply shipping labels and ensure all necessary documentation is in place.
- Use handheld scanners to track inventory movements and update system records.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and surrounding area.
- Comply with all company safety regulations and the mandatory use of PPE.
- Assist with restocking shelves and maintaining inventory accuracy.
- Report any picking errors, damages, or inventory discrepancies to a supervisor.
- Perform other related duties as assigned to support logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a picker/packer or in a warehouse setting is advantageous.
- Ability to read and interpret order pick lists or operate scanning devices.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in work.
- Capability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive motions.
- Willingness to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
- Commitment to adhering to all safety procedures and using PPE correctly.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Basic understanding of warehouse logistics and inventory control.
