Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming inventory.
- Accurately stock merchandise in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick items to fulfill customer orders using RF scanners or pick lists.
- Pack orders carefully to ensure safe delivery.
- Prepare shipments for outbound transit, including labeling and staging.
- Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently (training available).
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the distribution center.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and company policies, including the consistent use of required PPE.
- Participate in inventory cycle counts and assist with physical inventories.
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve operational goals and improve workflow within the logistics chain.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Experience in a warehouse, distribution center, or logistics role is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to handle physical demands, including frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with warehouse equipment and scanning technology is beneficial.
- Knowledge of safety best practices and the importance of wearing PPE is essential.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
- A dedication to contributing to a safe and productive distribution center environment.
