This role requires the ability to perform physical tasks, including occasional Lifting. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move materials within the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks, trailers, and containers.
- Transport inventory to and from designated storage areas.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance checks on forklifts, reporting any issues immediately.
- Follow all Safety regulations and company procedures, including wearing appropriate PPE.
- Assist with inventory management, including put-away and retrieval tasks.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff and supervisors to ensure smooth operations.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of the logistics flow.
- Valid forklift operator certification is required.
- Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including occasional Lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations and Safety procedures.
- Familiarity with different types of forklifts and their operation.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
