Job Summary:
Join our dynamic logistics team in Los Angeles, California, as a Material Handler. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials throughout the warehouse. Your duties will include loading and unloading trucks, operating various types of material handling equipment, and organizing inventory. A strong commitment to safety, attention to detail, and physical stamina are essential for this position. You will play a critical part in ensuring our warehouse operations run smoothly and efficiently, contributing to the timely delivery of goods. Responsibilities:
  • Load and unload materials from trucks, containers, and other vehicles.
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Transport materials to and from designated storage areas within the warehouse.
  • Stack and arrange materials according to established procedures.
  • Inspect equipment for defects and report any issues for repair.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Assist with inventory management tasks, including receiving and stocking.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and use required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Follow proper lifting techniques to prevent injuries.
  • Support the overall logistics operations of the facility.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role preferred.
  • Valid forklift certification is a plus.
  • Ability to operate various types of material handling equipment.
  • Must be able to lift and move heavy objects, up to 60 pounds.
  • Strong understanding of safety procedures and protocols.
  • Good physical stamina and manual dexterity.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet performance standards.
  • Team-oriented and able to follow instructions.
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient workplace.
