The ideal candidate will be proactive in identifying and resolving inventory issues, contributing to overall warehouse efficiency. You will work closely with other warehouse staff and management to ensure smooth operations. Attention to detail and accuracy are paramount. Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in the WMS.
- Identify and report damaged or expired stock.
- Implement inventory control best practices.
- Assist with receiving and put-away processes as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with the warehouse team to improve efficiency.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Perform other inventory-related tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience in inventory control or a similar role.
- Proficiency with WMS software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 30 lbs.
- Familiarity with logistics and warehouse operations.
- Commitment to safety and proper use of PPE.
