The Opportunity

We are seeking a Canada-licensed lawyer  to join Avvenire in a VP Legal / senior legal leadership role , working closely with the CEO, management team, and external advisors. The role is designed for a lawyer who wants to play a strategic, business-facing role  while helping guide the company through financing, scaling, and public-market preparation.

You will act as a central legal lead while collaborating with external securities counsel for listing and regulatory matters.



Key Areas of Responsibility

Legal Leadership & Corporate Support

  • Oversee corporate, commercial, and governance matters
  • Review, manage, and help standardize contracts, agreements, and partnerships
  • Coordinate and work alongside external law firms as required

Real Estate, Leasing & Dispute Oversight

  • Organize and oversee existing real estate, leasing, and financing documentation
  • Assist with matters involving commercial disputes or litigation , working with external counsel
  • Provide continuity and strategic oversight across ongoing legal matters

Capital Raising & Investor Participation

  • Actively participate as part of the core team raising capital
  • Support and help lead investor discussions, diligence processes, and transaction execution
  • Contribute existing investor relationships where possible and help expand the company’s investor network

Public Markets Preparation

  • Work with external Canadian and U.S. securities counsel  on CSE and potential U.S. public market pathways (including NASDAQ)
  • Assist with legal coordination for listing readiness, disclosures, and governance



Ideal Candidate Profile
  • Licensed lawyer in Canada (eligible to practise and file in Canada)
  • Experience or strong interest in corporate, commercial, real estate, or litigation-related matters
  • Comfortable engaging with investors and participating in fundraising efforts
  • May be a younger or mid-career lawyer  seeking accelerated responsibility and leadership growth
  • Commercially minded, organized, and motivated by long-term value creation
  • Cross-border experience or U.S. exposure is an asset, but not required
