Commercial Motor New Business Executive // Hybrid – Orpington // £40,000 per annum An established and reputable insurance broker is seeking an ambitious Commercial Motor Fleet New Business Executive to join a dynamic and growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual with a background in insurance—or a high-performing sales executive from another sector—looking to elevate their career in commercial insurance.   Key Responsibilities:

Handle all aspects of Commercial Motor Fleet new business, from quotation through to binding cover. Convert warm and inbound leads into successful sales, consistently achieving or exceeding targets. Liaise with clients and insurers to negotiate terms and build lasting relationships. Prepare detailed market presentations and ensure all covers, endorsements, and warranties are accurate. Manage mid-term adjustments and cross-sell relevant insurance products. Maintain accurate data input and manage personal workflow effectively. Handle both incoming and outbound calls professionally.  Ideal Candidate Profile:

Minimum 3 years' experience in insurance (Commercial Motor/Fleet preferred), or a strong sales track record in another industry. Cert CII qualified (or working towards), or willingness to pursue insurance qualifications. Strong negotiation and communication skills—both verbal and written. Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team. Excellent organisational and time management abilities. Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering excellent customer service.  Development & Benefits:
