Your Role:
Assessing, diagnosing, screening, and treating a variety of developmental disorders
Our population consists of Autism (ASD), ADHD, language-based learning disorders, AAC users, motor speech disorders, articulation/phonological disorders, and developmental delays
Timely completion of documentation including daily SOAP notes, progress notes, initial and re-evaluations
Implement evidence based, neurodiversity affirming treatment techniques including sensory-based strategies and a strengths-based approach to improve independence in childhood occupations
Collaborate with speech therapists, physical therapists, BCBA's, psychologists, and other team members to provide a whole child approach
Modify the learning environment to suit patients' skill progressions
Effectively provide parent and family education
Engage in cultural responsiveness when treatment planning for culturally diverse population
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
Current Washington State Occupational Therapy License
1-3 years experience preferred, but open to new graduates
