We're currently searching for an experienced business development manager who can partner with multiple departments to drive measurable results that benefit our business. Our ideal candidate will be able to implement an effective sales approach that expands our reach and strengthens client relationships. They will also actively seek out other business opportunities that can boost revenue and set our company apart. Close cooperation with our engineering team will be a key factor for success.

Objectives of this role

• Develop, execute, and oversee a global business strategy that generates growth through customer positive product experience

• Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with clients – existing and new prospects

• Collect voice of customer and work with engineering to implement improvements or completely new products.

Responsibilities

• Conduct high-level industry research to develop effective sales solutions that address voice of customer

• Work with contractors, distributors, DIY stores, and manufacturers.

• Create overall strategy for ttap product lines including consideration for operational footprint and design

• Promote the company's products or services to prospective clients, with a core focus on the wood construction industry and Torx and Torx Plus ttap product lines for both the DIY and professional markets.

• Actively collect voice of customer to identify unmet market needs and work with engineering to fulfill those needs, either through product improvement or new product development.

• Actively participate in industry committees and forums to gain company recognition and presence.

• Work with marketing to create the materials that you will need for product and business promotion including industry fair planning.

• Participate in collaborative business meetings to update key stakeholders

• Provide continuous, constructive feedback to internal colleagues

• Educate management about market intricacies and methods for success

• Interact with clients and respond to important inquiries about the company's products or services

Skills and qualifications

• Proven record of sales growth

• Experience in customer service, marketing, or a sales-related field

• Strong knowledge of business and sales growth techniques

• Exceptional project management skills

• Clear verbal and written communication skills

• Enthusiasm for the company and its growth potential

• Cultural fit with our can-do attitude

Preferred qualifications

• Experience and knowledge in wood construction markets, wood screw experience highly desirable

• Experience in managing accounts and sales

• Sharp negotiation and networking skills

• Organizational skills

• Problem-solving skills

• Educational background in business, marketing, engineering, or finance
