Surgical Technician – Surgery General at Providence summary: The Surgical Technician supports surgical teams by preparing sterile fields, assisting surgeons and nurses, and maintaining OR equipment. They are required to have completed accredited training and hold national certification, with preferred operating room experience. The primary duties of the Surgical Technician include: setting up and maintaining a sterile field, assists surgeon as necessary, assists circulating nurse and other members of the surgical team, maintains familiarity, function and proper care of all OR equipment and instruments.
