Become a key player in our Minneapolis, Minnesota warehouse as a Material Handler. This role is integral to the smooth operation of our logistics and supply chain. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials throughout the facility, including operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment. Your efforts will ensure that inventory is organized, accessible, and ready for distribution. The ideal candidate is a responsible individual with a strong focus on safety and a good understanding of warehouse operations. We offer thorough training on equipment operation, safety protocols, and the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Proper lifting techniques will also be a core part of your training. Your contribution to our logistics efficiency and workplace safety is highly valued. Responsibilities include:
- Safely operate forklifts and other designated material handling equipment.
- Load and unload trucks and containers.
- Transport materials to and from various locations within the warehouse.
- Organize and stack inventory in designated areas.
- Assist with inventory cycle counts and stocktaking.
- Perform routine checks and maintenance on equipment.
- Adhere to all safety standards and procedures.
- Wear and utilize all required PPE consistently.
- Ensure the seamless flow of materials within our logistics framework.
- Support other warehouse functions as needed.
This role involves significant physical activity, including frequent lifting of items up to 70 pounds, and requires prolonged periods of standing, walking, and bending. Your commitment to safety and efficiency is crucial to our logistics success.
