About
Join our team as a Picker/Packer in Washington, D.C. and contribute to our efficient fulfillment operations. Once picked, items will be packed securely and efficiently to ensure they arrive safely at their destination. This position requires a keen attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy. We prioritize a safe working environment, and adherence to all safety guidelines, including the mandatory use of PPE , is expected. This role involves significant physical activity, including regular lifting of up to 50 pounds and standing for long periods. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products for customer orders using RF scanners.
- Verify product information and quantities against order details.
- Package items securely and appropriately for shipping.
- Conduct quality checks on all picked and packed items.
- Stage packed orders for carrier pickup.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Follow all warehouse safety regulations and procedures.
- Wear appropriate PPE, such as safety glasses and gloves.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in picking, packing, or warehouse environments is a plus.
- Ability to lift and move packages up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable standing and walking for extended periods.
- Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
