About
Seeking a certified Forklift Operator to join our busy warehouse in Austin, Texas! This role is essential for ensuring the smooth flow of goods throughout our logistics network. You will be responsible for operating forklifts to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up) to transport materials.
- Load and unload shipments from trucks and containers.
- Move inventory to and from production, storage, and shipping areas.
- Conduct routine inspections of forklift equipment to ensure operability and safety.
- Accurately complete all necessary documentation related to material movement.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations, including the mandatory use of appropriate PPE.
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counts as needed.
- Participate in tasks that require substantial lifting and manual dexterity.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
Qualifications:
- Current forklift certification.
- Demonstrated experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and protocols.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs, on a regular basis.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.
- Familiarity with logistics operations is a plus.
