We are looking for a motivated Warehouse Associate to join our team in Seattle, Washington. This role is fundamental to our logistics operations, encompassing a wide range of warehouse activities from receiving and storing goods to picking, packing, and preparing orders for dispatch. You will be a key player in ensuring the efficient flow of inventory and timely delivery to our customers. We emphasize a culture of safety and provide comprehensive training, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe lifting practices. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments accurately.
- Organize and store inventory in designated warehouse locations, ensuring proper stock rotation.
- Pick customer orders efficiently and accurately using RF scanners or pick lists.
- Pack orders with care to prevent damage during transit, selecting appropriate packaging materials.
- Prepare outgoing shipments, including affixing labels and completing necessary documentation.
- Operate various warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, safely and efficiently (certification may be required).
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environment in accordance with safety regulations.
- Participate in inventory control activities, including cycle counts and physical inventories.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, demonstrating proficiency in safe lifting and the correct use of PPE.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to achieve daily operational goals.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a warehouse associate or similar role is advantageous.
- Demonstrated ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including consistent lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Strong organizational skills and a high level of accuracy.
- Understanding of warehouse management systems and logistics principles.
- Commitment to upholding stringent safety standards.
- Ability to work cooperatively in a team setting and follow instructions.
- Flexibility to work various shifts and adapt to changing priorities.
