We are hiring a diligent Shipping Clerk for our warehouse in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. This role is critical to our logistics operations, managing the final stages of order fulfillment before products leave our facility. You will be responsible for ensuring all outgoing shipments are accurately processed, documented, and prepared for transit. Responsibilities:
- Prepare shipping labels and documentation accurately.
- Verify order details against packed items and shipping manifests.
- Operate shipping software and equipment efficiently.
- Coordinate with carriers to schedule pickups and track shipments.
- Inspect outgoing packages for damage or discrepancies before dispatch.
- Load and unload trucks as needed, ensuring safe material handling practices.
- Maintain organized shipping and receiving areas.
- Ensure compliance with all shipping regulations and company policies.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines, including proper lifting techniques and the use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory receiving and put-away when necessary.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Shipping Clerk or in a related logistics role is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in using shipping software and office equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and processing.
- Ability to handle the physical demands of the job, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Understanding of warehouse and logistics procedures.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
