Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to join our team in Miami, Florida. This critical role involves maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory. You will be responsible for implementing and overseeing inventory management procedures, conducting regular audits, and resolving discrepancies. A strong commitment to Safety is essential, as you will be working within a warehouse environment and ensuring proper handling and storage of all items. Your expertise will directly impact our Logistics efficiency and profitability. This position requires a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. We are looking for an individual who can contribute to optimizing our inventory processes and ensuring smooth operations. Your role ensures that we have the right stock, in the right place, at the right time.
Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels across all warehouse locations.
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, identifying root causes.
  • Implement and enforce inventory control policies and procedures.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
  • Oversee the receiving and put-away process to ensure accuracy.
  • Manage the returned goods process, including inspection and restocking.
  • Ensure proper storage and handling of all inventory items to minimize damage.
  • Collaborate with warehouse staff and management to improve inventory accuracy.
  • Adhere to all company Safety regulations and ensure the proper use of PPE.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in inventory control, warehouse management, or Logistics.
  • Proficiency with inventory management software and WMS systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to perform tasks involving occasional Lifting of up to 30 pounds.
  • Knowledge of Safety best practices in a warehouse setting.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
