We are looking for dedicated Order Pickers to join our vibrant team in Virginia Beach, Virginia. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently selecting products from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. Your attention to detail and speed are critical to our fulfillment process. Safety is our utmost priority, and we provide comprehensive training on all equipment and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE. This position plays a direct role in ensuring customer satisfaction by getting the right products to them quickly. If you are a motivated individual who enjoys an active role in a team environment, this is the perfect opportunity. You'll be working within a well-organized Logistics framework, contributing to the smooth flow of goods. Your ability to work independently and meet productivity targets will be key.
Responsibilities:
- Receive picking orders via handheld scanner or other designated devices.
- Locate and retrieve items from warehouse shelves accurately.
- Verify product codes and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
- Package picked items securely for shipment, or stage them for packing.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring aisles are clear.
- Operate powered industrial trucks and equipment safely, as required.
- Adhere to all Safety guidelines and wear required PPE at all times.
- Participate in inventory cycle counts and assist with stock rotation.
- Meet established productivity and accuracy standards.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of the Logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring frequent Lifting and carrying of items up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to stand, walk, and climb for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently.
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
