About
We are seeking an Order Picker to join our efficient warehouse team in St. Louis, Missouri! This position is key to ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment, playing a critical role in our overall logistics chain. As an Order Picker, you will navigate the warehouse to accurately select items from inventory according to customer orders. You will use RF scanning technology to ensure precise inventory management and track order progress. Your responsibilities will also include ensuring picked items are staged correctly for the packing process. Maintaining a safe and orderly work environment is of utmost importance. You must diligently follow all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This role requires physical stamina, including extensive walking, standing for extended periods, and the regular Lifting of items up to 45 pounds. We are looking for reliable, detail-oriented individuals who work well independently and as part of a team. Experience in a warehouse setting is preferred, but not required as training will be provided. Your accuracy and efficiency directly impact our customer satisfaction. Responsibilities:
- Accurately locate and retrieve specified items from warehouse inventory using order lists or RF scanners.
- Verify item numbers, quantities, and product condition during the picking process.
- Ensure picked items are staged correctly for the next stage of order processing.
- Maintain an organized and clean picking area.
- Adhere to all warehouse safety regulations and guidelines.
- Properly use all required PPE, including safety shoes and eye protection.
- Report any inventory discrepancies or equipment issues to supervisors immediately.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned, such as put-away or stocking.
- Meet daily picking targets and quality control standards.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.
This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy an active job and have a strong focus on accuracy. Understanding basic logistics principles is beneficial. The ability to perform consistent Lifting is a necessary qualification.
