Job Summary:
We are seeking diligent Order Pickers to join our warehouse team in Madison, Wisconsin. This role is fundamental to our success, ensuring that customer orders are accurately and efficiently fulfilled. As an Order Picker, you will navigate our warehouse, locate specified items using order sheets or scanning technology, and prepare them for shipment. Your ability to maintain high levels of accuracy, work at a consistent pace, and adhere to all Safety protocols is essential. Responsibilities:
  • Accurately pick and assemble customer orders from warehouse shelves using picking equipment and order lists.
  • Verify product codes and quantities against order details to ensure accuracy.
  • Safely operate manual pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment.
  • Package items carefully to prevent damage during transit.
  • Stage completed orders in designated shipping areas.
  • Maintain an organized and clean work environment, adhering to Safety standards.
  • Achieve individual and team productivity goals.
  • Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment as directed.
  • Follow all company policies, including wearing required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
  • Contribute to overall logistics efficiency through diligent work.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or order picking role is advantageous.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including Walking, bending, and Lifting items up to 40 pounds.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Familiarity with RF scanners and warehouse management systems is a plus.
  • Understanding of fundamental logistics and warehouse operations.
  • Dedication to Safety practices and the consistent use of PPE.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.
  • Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with colleagues.
