This role is central to the efficient operation of our warehouse, focusing on the movement, organization, and storage of materials. We are seeking a reliable and physically capable individual to manage inventory flow, ensuring timely readiness for both production and distribution. Your duties will include receiving incoming goods, operating material handling equipment, and maintaining an organized warehouse layout. Key responsibilities involve careful loading and unloading of trucks, precise stocking of inventory, and active participation in inventory control processes such as cycle counts. Safety is paramount; strict adherence to all established safety protocols, including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is expected. This position requires consistent lifting and the ability to perform manual labor in a demanding warehouse environment. Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and store incoming inventory accurately.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Transport materials throughout the warehouse as directed.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper securing of loads.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through proper stocking and organization.
- Assist with cycle counts and physical inventory checks.
- Adhere to all company safety regulations and wear appropriate PPE at all times.
- Report any damage to goods or equipment to supervision.
- Keep the work area clean and free of obstructions.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or material handling role is highly desirable.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull objects weighing up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Proficiency in operating industrial forklifts and pallet jacks preferred.
- Understanding of warehouse safety practices and procedures.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to a safe and efficient work environment.
