We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Receiving Clerk to join our dynamic logistics team in Richmond, Virginia. In this vital role, you will be responsible for the accurate and efficient receipt of all incoming goods into our warehouse. Your primary duties will include unloading trucks, inspecting shipments for damage and discrepancies, verifying packing slips against purchase orders, and accurately logging all received items into our inventory management system. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and organized receiving area. Experience with warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks and forklifts, is a plus. You will work closely with other departments to ensure smooth inventory flow and timely processing of goods. Adherence to all safety protocols, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is mandatory. This position involves regular lifting of up to 50 pounds and requires standing, walking, and bending for extended periods.
