About
We are seeking a certified and experienced Forklift Operator to join our dynamic logistics team in Orlando, Florida. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating forklifts to move, load, unload, and stack materials within the warehouse. This role is critical to maintaining smooth warehouse operations and ensuring timely order fulfillment. You will be operating various types of forklifts, including sit-down, stand-up, and reach trucks. Attention to detail is paramount, as is adherence to all safety protocols.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts to move materials within the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring accurate counts and proper handling.
- Stack and organize inventory in designated areas.
- Perform pre-operation inspections of forklifts and report any defects.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed, such as picking and packing.
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift operator certification.
- Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations and Logistics .
- Commitment to workplace Safety and following all guidelines.
- Must wear provided PPE , including safety shoes and high-visibility vest.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Basic understanding of inventory management systems is a plus.
