We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Picker/Packer to join our dynamic logistics team in Jacksonville, Florida. As a Picker/Packer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and efficient fulfillment of customer orders. Your primary responsibilities will involve accurately picking items from warehouse shelves based on order slips and then meticulously packing these items for shipment. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from inventory using order sheets or RF scanners.
- Pack items securely and efficiently for shipping, ensuring product integrity.
- Verify order details against picked items to minimize errors.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Adhere to all company safety guidelines and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock checks as needed.
- Meet daily picking and packing performance targets.
- Identify and report any damaged or missing inventory.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
- Understand and follow all company logistics and shipping procedures.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods.
- Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Basic reading and math skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations is a plus.
- Commitment to workplace safety and the use of required PPE.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
