Responsibilities:
- Receive, identify, and inspect incoming materials.
- Unpack, sort, and store materials in designated locations.
- Operate material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks and forklifts (certification required for forklifts).
- Transport materials throughout the warehouse efficiently and safely.
- Prepare materials for shipment, ensuring correct labeling and packaging.
- Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work area.
- Adhere to all company safety protocols and utilize appropriate PPE.
- Participate in inventory counts and reconciliation.
- Support overall warehouse logistics and supply chain functions.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience as a material handler or in a similar warehouse role.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting, up to 75 lbs.
- Proficiency in operating pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment.
- Forklift certification is a significant advantage.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety standards.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
