We are seeking experienced and certified Forklift Operators to join our dynamic warehouse team in Columbus, Ohio. This role is critical to the efficient movement of goods within our logistics hub. You will be responsible for operating forklifts safely and efficiently to move, load, unload, and stack materials. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, reach truck) safely and proficiently.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and trailers.
- Move pallets and goods to and from designated storage areas.
- Stack and arrange materials in an organized and secure manner.
- Perform pre-operation checks on forklifts to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Adhere to all warehouse safety rules and regulations, including the proper use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory management, including cycle counts and stock put-away.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency and organization of the warehouse logistics.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns immediately.
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift operator certification (e.g., OSHA).
- Proven experience operating various types of forklifts.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Familiarity with logistics and inventory control systems is a plus.
