Responsibilities:
- Process and prepare all outgoing shipments accurately.
- Verify shipping details, addresses, and order contents.
- Generate shipping labels and necessary documentation.
- Arrange transportation with various shipping carriers.
- Monitor shipment progress and resolve any transit issues.
- Maintain organized shipping records and logs.
- Ensure compliance with all shipping regulations and company policies.
- Adhere to safety protocols, including the correct use of PPE.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Shipping Clerk or in a similar shipping/logistics role.
- Proficiency with shipping software (e.g., FedEx, UPS, USPS) and MS Office.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds occasionally.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Familiarity with general logistics and supply chain processes.
- Commitment to safety and proper use of PPE.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
