Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, reach truck) safely and efficiently to move materials throughout the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks and containers, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing of loads.
- Transport raw materials, finished goods, and other items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or other designated areas.
- Conduct daily inspections of forklifts and report any maintenance issues promptly.
- Stack and organize inventory in designated locations, maintaining accurate placement and accessibility.
- Assist with inventory control, cycle counts, and order picking as needed.
- Adhere to all safety regulations, including wearing required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and participate in safety training.
- Maintain a clean and orderly workspace, contributing to overall warehouse safety and efficiency.
- Must be comfortable with lifting and moving items weighing up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Forklift Operator with a valid certification. Strong understanding of warehouse operations and logistics. Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical stamina. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production goals. Commitment to safety and adherence to all traffic rules within the warehouse. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Familiarity with various warehouse equipment is a plus. Experience with order picking and inventory management systems is advantageous.
