We are seeking a dedicated Order Picker to join our Indianapolis, Indiana warehouse team. As an Order Picker, you will be instrumental in our logistics operations, ensuring that customer orders are accurately and efficiently fulfilled. Your primary responsibility will be to retrieve items from warehouse shelves using a pick list or scanning device, ensuring the correct product and quantity are selected. Accuracy and attention to detail are critical for this role. You will work in a fast-paced environment and be an integral part of our supply chain. We provide comprehensive training, including proper lifting techniques and the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Your commitment to safety and efficiency is essential. Responsibilities include:
- Accurately pick items according to order specifications.
- Verify picked items against order sheets or system data.
- Stage picked items for packing and shipment.
- Maintain organized and clean work areas.
- Report any inventory discrepancies or damages.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment as needed.
- Ensure timely completion of picking assignments.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of our logistics process.
- Use required PPE diligently.
This position involves frequent lifting of items up to 40 pounds, as well as continuous standing, walking, and bending. Your attention to detail and commitment to safety are vital to our logistics success.
