About
Are you a skilled Reach Truck Operator seeking a challenging role in Huntsville, Alabama? We are looking for experienced operators to join our advanced logistics facility. This position demands precision and adherence to safety protocols to manage inventory within our high-density racking systems.
Responsibilities:
- Operate reach trucks to efficiently move and store inventory in tall racking systems.
- Load and unload materials from trailers and containers.
- Accurately pick and stage orders for shipment.
- Perform routine checks and basic maintenance on reach truck equipment.
- Maintain organized and accurate inventory records.
- Strictly follow all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Be aware of your surroundings to ensure the safety of yourself and others in the warehouse.
- Engage in tasks requiring physical stamina and regular lifting.
- Contribute to overall warehouse efficiency and productivity in our logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience operating reach trucks in a warehouse setting.
- Certification or license as a reach truck operator.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety and best practices.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Detail-oriented and committed to accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with logistics and inventory systems is a plus.
