Join our expanding logistics network as a Forklift Operator in Phoenix, Arizona! We are seeking a certified and experienced individual to manage the movement of materials within our state-of-the-art distribution center. Your responsibilities will include operating forklifts to load and unload trucks, move inventory, and transport goods to various locations within the facility. You will also be involved in routine equipment checks, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring all operations adhere to strict Safety standards. Responsibilities:
- Safely operate industrial forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, reach trucks) to move, stack, and retrieve materials.
- Load and unload freight from trucks and trailers.
- Transport inventory to and from designated storage areas, production lines, or shipping docks.
- Conduct pre-operation checks on forklifts and report any maintenance issues promptly.
- Assist with inventory management, including cycle counts and stock verification.
- Ensure that all warehouse Safety procedures are followed at all times.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures regarding Logistics operations.
- Properly utilize all required PPE during operation and while on the warehouse floor.
- Tasks may involve occasional manual Lifting of items, up to 45 lbs.
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift operator certification.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of proven forklift operating experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Knowledge of warehouse Safety regulations and OSHA standards.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including occasional Lifting.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including overtime as needed.
- Understanding of Logistics and warehouse flow.
