We are seeking reliable and hardworking Distribution Center Associates for our Chicago, Illinois facility. In this dynamic role, you will contribute to various aspects of our logistics operations, including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping. Your attention to detail and commitment to safety will ensure the smooth and efficient flow of goods through our distribution network. This is a physically demanding position that requires a strong work ethic and the ability to work collaboratively with a team. You will be essential in maintaining our operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming inventory, verifying quantities against documentation.
- Accurately pick and pack orders for shipment, ensuring quality and timeliness.
- Load and unload freight from trucks and trailers.
- Operate warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks and forklifts, safely and efficiently.
- Assist with inventory management, including cycle counts and stock put-away.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, following all logistics protocols.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and utilize appropriate PPE at all times.
- Meet established productivity and performance standards.
Qualifications:
Prior experience in a distribution center or warehouse setting is preferred. Must be able to perform lifting up to 50 pounds consistently. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities. Good communication and teamwork skills are essential.
