Job Summary:
Join our expanding logistics operations in Fort Worth, Texas, as a Receiving Clerk. This role is essential for managing the flow of goods into our facility, ensuring accuracy and efficiency from the outset. You will be responsible for unloading shipments, meticulously checking received items against order documentation, identifying any damages or discrepancies, and accurately recording all incoming inventory. A high level of attention to detail and a systematic approach are key. You will collaborate with various teams to streamline receiving processes and maintain optimal inventory levels. We are committed to providing a safe work environment, and adherence to safety procedures, including the proper use of PPE, is mandatory. Responsibilities:
  • Receive and unload all incoming freight and deliveries.
  • Verify shipment contents against purchase orders and packing lists.
  • Inspect goods for damage and report any discrepancies immediately.
  • Accurately enter receiving data into the inventory management system.
  • Tag and label received items for storage or distribution.
  • Organize and prepare received items for put-away.
  • Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment safely.
  • Communicate professionally with vendors and internal stakeholders.
  • Maintain a clean and organized receiving dock area.
  • Follow all company safety policies and wear appropriate PPE.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse receiving or similar logistics role is a strong asset.
  • Experience with RF scanners and inventory software is preferred.
  • Excellent organizational and data entry skills.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs consistently.
  • Must possess strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong commitment to safety.
  • Must wear required PPE, including safety shoes and high-visibility vests.
