We are seeking a skilled Warehouse Technician for our advanced facility in San Jose, California. This role is essential for maintaining the operational efficiency and integrity of our warehouse systems and equipment. Responsibilities include performing routine maintenance on warehouse machinery, troubleshooting equipment issues, managing inventory of spare parts, and ensuring all operations comply with strict safety regulations. A proactive approach to problem-solving and a thorough understanding of warehouse logistics are key. The successful candidate must be committed to maintaining a safe working environment and using all required PPE . While primarily focused on technical tasks, this role may involve occasional physical exertion, including lifting up to 50 pounds. Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on warehouse equipment, including conveyors, forklifts, and automated systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and inventory of spare parts.
- Ensure all equipment operates efficiently and safely, meeting performance standards.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of required PPE .
- Collaborate with operations teams to minimize downtime and optimize workflows.
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests as needed.
- Stay updated on new technologies and best practices in warehouse maintenance.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate's degree in a related field preferred.
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Technician or in a similar maintenance role.
- Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics systems.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Commitment to upholding high standards of workplace safety .
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and relevant software.
- Willingness to wear all necessary PPE .
