We are seeking a diligent Inventory Clerk to join our logistics team in Grand Rapids, Michigan. As an Inventory Clerk, you will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory. Your duties will include performing cycle counts, reconciling inventory records, investigating discrepancies, and assisting with physical inventory counts. You will work closely with the warehouse management system to ensure all inventory movements are accurately tracked. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a methodical approach. While primarily focused on record-keeping, you may be involved in moving inventory, so adherence to safety guidelines, including proper lifting techniques and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), is crucial. - Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in the WMS.
- Assist with receiving and put-away processes.
- Generate inventory reports for management.
- Ensure warehouse organization and tidiness related to inventory.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent. Experience in inventory control or a related field is preferred. Proficient with inventory management software and data entry. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Commitment to safety and the correct use of PPE.
