We are hiring enthusiastic Order Pickers in Boise, Idaho, to be an integral part of our efficient logistics operation. Your primary responsibility will be to accurately and efficiently select products from our warehouse shelves based on customer orders. This role demands a keen eye for detail, speed, and accuracy to ensure customer satisfaction. You will utilize handheld scanners to locate and retrieve items, requiring a good understanding of warehouse organization and inventory systems. Safety is our top priority; therefore, adherence to all safety protocols and the correct use of provided PPE is mandatory. The job involves significant physical activity, including standing for long periods, walking, bending, and lifting. Teamwork and a positive attitude are essential as you'll collaborate with fellow associates to meet daily fulfillment targets. Responsibilities:
- Retrieve specified items from warehouse inventory accurately.
- Use RF scanners and pick lists to guide order selection.
- Verify item numbers and quantities for accuracy.
- Stage picked items for packing and shipment.
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of the picking area.
- Follow all warehouse safety rules and guidelines, including mandatory PPE usage.
- Report any stock discrepancies or damaged goods immediately.
- Operate manual equipment such as pallet jacks.
- Work collaboratively with the warehouse team to ensure timely order processing.
- Contribute to the overall effectiveness of our logistics flow.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in order picking or warehouse work is an advantage.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs consistently.
- Good eyesight and attention to detail.
- Understanding of warehouse safety procedures.
- Familiarity with basic logistics concepts.
- Ability to work a full shift involving standing and walking.
- Reliable and committed to punctuality.
- Must comply with all PPE requirements.
