We are hiring a dependable Warehouse Worker for our facility in Grand Rapids, Michigan. This role is essential for the efficient operation of our warehouse, covering a broad range of duties from receiving and stocking to order fulfillment and shipping. You will play a key part in managing inventory accurately and ensuring that our logistics processes run smoothly. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming inventory for accuracy and damage.
- Stock received goods in designated warehouse locations, ensuring proper organization.
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment with speed and accuracy.
- Stage outgoing shipments for carriers, ensuring correct routing and labeling.
- Operate material handling equipment, including pallet jacks and forklifts (certification may be required), safely.
- Maintain accurate inventory records through regular checks and system updates.
- Perform tasks involving significant Lifting of boxes and materials, following correct techniques.
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and free from hazards at all times.
- Consistently wear and use all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Participate in cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
- Adhere strictly to all company Safety policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily operational targets.
- Support the overall efficiency of our logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or general labor role is beneficial.
- Ability to handle physical demands, including frequent Lifting of items up to 55 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Capability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of basic warehouse Safety protocols and procedures.
- Willingness to consistently use provided PPE.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
