We are looking for a diligent Warehouse Associate to join our team in San Francisco, California. This role is integral to the efficient functioning of our warehouse operations. You will be responsible for a wide range of tasks including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping products. Accuracy and speed are essential to meet our demanding logistics requirements. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, detail-oriented, and committed to upholding the highest standards of Safety. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders.
- Accurately pick orders from inventory using RF scanners or other picking devices.
- Pack items securely for shipment, selecting appropriate packaging materials.
- Stage orders for timely dispatch to customers.
- Operate material handling equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, safely and efficiently (certification may be required).
- Maintain inventory accuracy through diligent stock rotation and regular cycle counts.
- Perform tasks involving regular Lifting of goods, adhering to safe lifting practices.
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Wear and maintain all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Assist with inventory audits and stock takes.
- Follow all company Safety policies and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals and support logistics flow.
- Contribute to process improvements within the warehouse.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse experience is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including significant Lifting (up to 50 lbs).
- Proficiency with RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of warehouse Safety procedures.
- Commitment to wearing required PPE.
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Reliable and punctual attendance.
