Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on warehouse equipment (e.g., conveyors, forklifts, automated systems).
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and ensure compliance with all regulations.
- Assist with the installation and setup of new equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
- Ensure the safe operation of all machinery and tools.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and utilize required PPE diligently.
- Respond promptly to equipment malfunctions and emergency repair needs.
- Must be able to perform lifting of equipment and parts up to 75 lbs occasionally.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or technical degree/certification in a related field.
- Proven experience in industrial maintenance, mechanical repair, or a similar technical role.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations and logistics systems.
- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical equipment.
- Knowledge of safety standards and procedures, including PPE usage.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical manuals.
- Physical ability to perform tasks, including lifting and working in various warehouse environments.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
