Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, and dispatch.
- Supervise and direct warehouse staff, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and accurately.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with purchasing to ensure adequate stock.
- Implement and enforce all safety policies and procedures, ensuring a safe working environment for all employees, including the proper use of PPE.
- Optimize warehouse layout and workflow to improve logistics efficiency.
- Manage shipping and receiving schedules to meet delivery deadlines.
- Maintain equipment and facilities in good working order.
- Resolve operational issues and customer service inquiries.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to staff.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Capable of occasional lifting of up to 40 lbs.
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) for effective coordination.
- Drive continuous improvement in warehouse operations.
