We are hiring a Picker/Packer in Austin, Texas! If you are a detail-oriented individual with a knack for efficiency, this role is for you. You will be responsible for accurately picking items from warehouse stock and carefully packing them for shipment to our customers. This position requires speed, accuracy, and a commitment to quality. You will be working with a variety of products and using order processing systems to ensure correct fulfillment. Your contribution is vital to our customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately select items from warehouse shelves based on order requirements.
- Inspect picked items for any damage or defects.
- Pack orders using appropriate materials to ensure safe transit.
- Verify order accuracy before sealing packages.
- Label packages correctly for shipping.
- Maintain productivity standards for picking and packing.
- Contribute to maintaining a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all company Safety regulations and wear required PPE .
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a picker/packer or in a warehouse environment is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent Lifting of up to 40 lbs.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Understanding of basic Logistics and order fulfillment processes.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Team player with a positive attitude.
