Join our expanding logistics operations as an Order Picker in San Antonio, Texas! This position is essential for ensuring our customers receive their orders accurately and efficiently. You will be responsible for navigating the warehouse, selecting specified items based on order details, and preparing them for shipment. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to contribute to our team. - Accurately pick items from warehouse locations according to order tickets or digital lists.
- Verify the quantity and description of picked items against order requirements.
- Operate hand trucks, pallet jacks, or other equipment as needed to retrieve items.
- Ensure items are handled carefully to prevent damage during picking and transport.
- Stage picked items in the designated area for packing and shipping.
- Use RF scanners to track inventory movement and update system records.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to support efficient logistics flow.
- Follow all company safety guidelines, including the mandatory use of appropriate PPE.
- Report any stock discrepancies, damaged products, or safety concerns to supervisors.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a warehouse setting is advantageous.
- Ability to read and interpret order sheets and product labels.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
- Must be able to perform frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Understanding of basic warehouse safety and logistics principles.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
