- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload materials from trucks, railcars, and other conveyances.
- Transport materials to and from designated areas within the warehouse.
- Assist with receiving and stocking of incoming inventory.
- Perform inventory counts and help maintain accurate stock levels.
- Ensure all materials are handled and stored properly to prevent damage.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, essential for smooth logistics operations.
- Identify and report any damaged materials or equipment malfunctions.
- Participate in team efforts to meet daily production goals.
- Valid forklift operator certification or proven experience.
- Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse/logistics role.
- Ability to perform tasks involving frequent lifting up to 60 lbs.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety regulations and procedures.
- Excellent mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
- Reliable and punctual attendance.
- Willingness to work flexible hours if needed.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and productive environment.
