About
We are seeking a motivated Picker/Packer for our logistics operations in Miami, Florida. This role is essential for ensuring accurate and timely fulfillment of customer orders. You will be responsible for locating items in the warehouse, picking the correct products and quantities, and packing them securely for shipment. Attention to detail and efficiency are key. A commitment to safety is paramount; you must follow all warehouse safety procedures and wear the designated Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This position requires physical stamina, including standing, walking, and lifting.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse locations according to order specifications.
- Verify product details and quantities during the picking process.
- Pack items securely and efficiently using appropriate packaging materials.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for dispatch.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and general warehouse area.
- Assist with inventory control and stock replenishment.
- Follow all safety protocols and wear required PPE.
- Contribute to team efforts to meet daily fulfillment targets.
- Handle merchandise with care to prevent damage.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience as a Picker/Packer or in a warehouse setting is preferred.
- Ability to stand and walk for the duration of the shift.
- Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds.
- Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail.
- Basic reading and comprehension skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced logistics environment.
- Reliability and a commitment to safety.
