About
We are seeking a diligent Fulfillment Associate to join our busy logistics center in Chicago, Illinois. This role is critical for ensuring that customer orders are processed accurately and dispatched promptly. As a Fulfillment Associate, you will engage in various warehouse activities, including picking items from inventory, packing them securely for shipment, receiving and stocking new inventory, and maintaining the overall organization and cleanliness of the warehouse. A strong commitment to safety is paramount; adherence to all safety protocols and the correct usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is mandatory. The job requires physical stamina, including frequent standing, walking, and lifting.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products according to customer orders using scanning technology.
- Pack orders with appropriate materials to ensure safe delivery.
- Receive, verify, and stock incoming merchandise.
- Prepare shipments for transit, including labeling and staging.
- Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment in accordance with logistics standards.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational targets.
- Assist with inventory management tasks.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a fulfillment or warehouse role is preferred.
- Must be able to stand and walk for the entire shift.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds consistently.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Dedication to following safety procedures and wearing required PPE.
