Job Summary:
We are hiring a Material Handler to join our state-of-the-art facility in Los Angeles, California. This role is essential for managing the flow of materials throughout our warehouse, ensuring that production and shipping processes run smoothly. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for moving, organizing, and tracking various materials and products. This position requires a high degree of accuracy, physical dexterity, and a strong commitment to Safety. You will work closely with other team members and supervisors to maintain optimal inventory levels and prevent delays in our logistics chain. The ability to perform heavy Lifting and operate material handling equipment safely is crucial. We foster a culture of continuous improvement and provide opportunities for training and development in the logistics field.
Responsibilities:
  • Transport raw materials, finished goods, and other items throughout the warehouse.
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely.
  • Load and unload trucks and containers.
  • Organize and store materials in designated locations.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records by tracking material movement.
  • Receive incoming materials and verify against shipping documents.
  • Prepare materials for shipment or further processing.
  • Ensure all work areas are kept clean, tidy, and free from safety hazards.
  • Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
  • Participate in cycle counting and inventory audits.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
  • Proficiency in operating various types of material handling equipment.
  • Ability to perform tasks requiring significant Lifting (up to 60 lbs) and manual dexterity.
  • Understanding of warehouse operations and logistics principles.
  • Strong awareness of Safety regulations and practices.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
  • Willingness to undergo additional training as needed.
