Our company is seeking a dedicated Shipping Clerk to manage the outbound **logistics** process at our Oklahoma City, Oklahoma facility. As a Shipping Clerk, you will be responsible for preparing outgoing shipments, coordinating with carriers, verifying shipment details, and ensuring that all orders are accurately processed and dispatched on time. This role requires excellent organizational skills and attention to detail to maintain high levels of accuracy. You will work with shipping software and shipping manifests to track shipments. The position involves some **lifting** of packages and working in a busy warehouse environment. **Safety** is our top priority, and you must adhere to all **safety** regulations and use the necessary **PPE**. Responsibilities:
- Prepare and stage outgoing shipments according to carrier requirements.
- Verify shipping information against order details for accuracy.
- Generate shipping labels and bills of lading.
- Coordinate pick-ups with various shipping carriers.
- Maintain accurate shipping records and documentation.
- Perform **lifting** of packages up to 50 lbs.
- Ensure compliance with all **safety** regulations and proper use of **PPE**.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and external carriers regarding **logistics**.
- Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment as needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in shipping or logistics preferred.
- Proficiency with shipping software and carrier portals.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to perform **lifting** and handle packages of various sizes.
- Knowledge of **logistics** and shipping procedures.
- Commitment to workplace **safety** and **PPE** protocols.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
