Join our team as a Distribution Center Associate in Fort Worth, Texas! This role is fundamental to the efficient operation of our distribution center. You will be involved in various aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving incoming shipments, stocking merchandise, picking and packing outgoing orders, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming inventory.
- Stock merchandise onto shelves or designated areas.
- Pick and pack orders accurately for shipment.
- Operate material handling equipment safely, such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Conduct inventory counts and assist with inventory control.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of PPE.
- Assist with shipping and receiving functions as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to meet operational goals.
- Identify and report any safety hazards or operational issues.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or distribution center experience is preferred.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including Lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with basic warehouse operations and logistics.
- Willingness to operate machinery and follow strict safety protocols.
- Commitment to wearing appropriate PPE and adhering to all safety regulations.
