Role & Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

Monthly I2PD Project Update

  • Prepare and deliver comprehensive monthly I2PD project updates covering cost and schedule performance, risks, and variances.
  • Gather data from project team members and validate inputs.
  • Ensure all updates comply with project reporting standards and deadlines.

Internal Project PO Monitoring

  • Track and monitor internal Purchase Orders relevant to the project.
  • Maintain accurate records of PO commitments, status, and expenditures.
  • Identify discrepancies, escalate issues, and support timely resolution.

Monthly Cost Forecasting

  • Develop and maintain monthly cost forecasts integrating actuals and FRA data.
  • Assess cost trends and variances and provide explanations for deviations from the IPD EMP budget.
  • Collaborate with project controls and finance teams to ensure accurate and complete forecasts.

Earned Value Management (EVM)

  • Prepare EVM reporting packages for project L1 meetings.
  • Calculate and monitor CPI, SPI, and other key EVM metrics.
  • Support performance analysis and forecasting related to earned value results.

Qualifications / Requirements

To succeed in this role, you bring:

  • 3–7 years n project controls, cost analysis, scheduling, or related functions within industrial, utility, or major infrastructure projects
  • Strong understanding of cost control, forecasting, earned value management, and schedule analysis
  • Proficiency in Excel and cost management tools; experience with EcoSys and Ariba (SAP Ariba) is an asset
  • Knowledge of power generation or utility project environments is beneficial
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams (project controls, finance, procurement, planning, and other cross-functional teams).
  • Able to work on-site in Mattawa, ON, Monday through Friday
